Team library

A team is a set of bots that work together: their roles and pictures, shared instructions, skills, group chats, playbooks and suggested routines, in one portable file. The team library at teams.brainwrite.in has ready-made teams you can add in one click.

Add a team from the team library

1. Open teams.brainwrite.in, or in Brainwrite choose + in the sidebar, then Templates, then Team library.
2. Pick a team and choose Install in Brainwrite. Brainwrite opens and shows a preview of the team.
3. Review what it adds, then choose Add team.

The team arrives as a new team in your sidebar; teams you already have stay as they are, and a duplicate name gets a number. Skills arrive switched on, suggested routines arrive paused, and connected apps stay off until you approve them. Nothing in a team file can see your chats, AI accounts, permissions or computers.

Browse templates in the app

Choose + in the sidebar, then Templates. The Explore tab lists ready-made teams and preset bots; use Search templates to find one, then preview and add it.

Bring your own team

In Templates, open the Import tab:

• Choose a backup or team file to load a .brainwritebackup.json backup or a Brainwrite team .md file from your Mac. You can also drop the file onto the window.
• Load from GitHub takes a teams.brainwrite.in team, a public repository or a direct link to a team file.

You always see a preview before anything is added.

Share a team

1. In Templates, open the Share tab, or use Share team… on the team.
2. Choose what to include and select Save file.
3. Send the file to someone. They add it from Templates → Import.

A shared team carries bots, skills, group chats, routines and playbooks. Chat history, keys and passwords are never included. After you change the team, share it again to make a new version.

Team files are ordinary Markdown with a short structured header, so people and other AI tools can read them too. See the portable format on the team library.
