Plans and licensing
The two Brainwrite plans, what they include, and how renewal, cancellation and offline use work.
Brainwrite needs an active plan on the account you sign in with. You choose one in the app after your first sign-in, or at cloud.brainwrite.in for Brainwrite Cloud.
The plans

Neither plan includes AI usage. Your bots use the engines and AI accounts you already have, such as a Claude or ChatGPT subscription or an API key, and your provider bills that usage under its own terms and limits. See Agent engines.
Paying
Payments are handled by Stripe in your browser. Start the payment from the app or from cloud.brainwrite.in while signed in: the payment is then linked to your account, whichever email you type at checkout, and your email is filled in for you. The app checks your account every 10 seconds while the plans are showing and opens by itself once the payment goes through.
Renewal and cancellation
- Plans renew automatically: Brainwrite Cloud every month, Organisation every year.
- You can cancel any time. Access continues to the end of the period you have paid for.
- When a plan ends, there is no grace period: at its next check the app shows the plans until you renew.
- For Brainwrite Cloud, a renewal payment that does not go through stops your Cloud computer straight away. See Billing and cancellation for what happens to its data.
Using Brainwrite offline
Brainwrite checks your account when it opens, and every 8 hours while it stays open. If it cannot reach Brainwrite's account service, for example on a plane, the app keeps working for up to 7 days from the last successful check. If your account was signed out or your plan has ended, the app asks you to sign in or renew the next time it can check.
Several Macs
Your plan belongs to your account, not to one computer. Sign in with the same email on each Mac you use.
